On the edge of the Nature Reserves of the Pevensey Marshes and within sight of the Sussex Downs,Wartling is a few minutes from the coast with unspoilt quiet beaches at Normans Bay, Pevensey and Cooden Beach, and within easy reach of many Historic towns, National Trust Gardens and Homes of South East England and Weald of Kent. The coastal resort of Eastbourne hosts year round attractions and boasts more hours of sunshine than almost any other English holiday resort. Wartling has its own ‘micro-climate’ the stunning 2 acre gardens at Wartling Place exhibit many exotic sub-tropical plants and shrubs. The gardens with year round interest glow with Magnolia, Camelia, huge Rhodedendrums, lilies, lavender, the borders are full of flowering shrubs so lots of butterflies!.

Close to road links for Channel Ports of Dover, Folkstone and Newhaven with ferry services to the Continent and Euro-tunnel to Paris and Europe. The main line station at Polegate offers good access to London, and the airports at Gatwick and Heathrow. Wartling Place is an ideally situated base to tour the South east of England and a good stop-over for visitors to and from the Continent travelling on to the West Country, Cotswolds and other UK destinations.
